Immortals Fenyx Rising Patch 1.1.0 With New DLC Teaser Mission
Immortals Fenyx Rising received an update that not only fixes some bugs, but also adds a new mission that offers a preview of the upcoming expansion titled A New God.
- New adventure teasuring the first DLC;
- Fixes;
- Improved controls on PC and PS5.
A new update has been released for Immortals Fenyx Rising, the action adventure game released by Ubisoft late last year. The patch is numbered 1.1.0 and has been released on all hardware platforms
The main task of the update is to prepare the game for the release of the first paid DLC, namely A New God. The patch adds a new mission to the game, titled When in Olympus, which is a foretaste of what the aforementioned addition will offer.
The task requires completing a new crypt filled with various challenges. The mission is accompanied by a timer and encourages players to beat their own time records. Completing the adventure is rewarded with useful bonuses.
From the description of the upcoming add-on, it seems that Immortals: Fenyx Rising - A New God will offer a series of trials prepared by Greek deities. So the mission When in Olympus seems to give a good idea of what the expansion will offer.
For now, Ubisoft has not revealed the expansion's release date, but the fact that the teaser adventure has been added now suggests that we will not have to wait long.
Patch 1.1.0 also brings other changes. Removed a lot of technical issues and bugs in adventures, interface and photo mode. On PC, quick-switching between targets while playing on mouse and keyboard is now available, and on PS5, more actions now take advantage of the DualSense controller's haptic technology. Xbox X users no longer have to worry about corrupted saves, which can happen during long game sessions.
Immortals Fenyx Rising was released on December 3, 2020. The game is available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and Nintendo Switch, as well as on Google Stadia.
