Immortals: Fenyx Rising Launches

Today we will be able to play in Immortals: Fenyx Rising - the latest title from Ubisoft, a bit different from other games of this company. The game will debut on PCs, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and Nintendo Switch.

Immortals: Fenyx Rising, the latest game created by the French company Ubisoft, will debut on the market today. The title will be available on PC (on Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store for $59.99) and PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 (same price on both platforms), Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S (in Microsoft's store) and Nintendo Switch. The developers have also prepared a version for Google Stadia.

The PC edition from Ubisoft Store and the digital version on Nintendo Switch are already available. The copies purchased from Epic Games Store will be unlocked only at 5 PM CET / 8 AM PT. On the other hand, owners of PS4 and PS5 consoles will have to wait until noon CET / 3 AM PT, just like owners of Xbox One / Series X / Series S consoles.

Immortals: Fenyx Rising - reception

Immortals was warmly welcomed by reviewers, who appreciated above all the game's charming atmosphere, humor and some gameplay ideas (e.g. puzzles). It should be noted that, as our reviewer stressed in his text, despite the pastel colors palette and characteristic, somewhat cartoonish style, the title in question does not deserve a label of "game for kids".

"Saying that Immortals: Fenyx Rising is a poor-man's Assassin's Creed is completely wrong. Ubisoft's new production offers a surprisingly satisfying intellectual challenge with elements of arcade, and good combat; above that, it has a beautifully created world, and a pleasant storyline. However, the youngest players may have problems finishing the game – so it's also a great production to play with kids. Despite all the comparisons to Ubisoft's most famous franchise, it's laudable that the creators are trying something different (but not necessarily new) – and in fact, the latest Ubisoft game is something different from Assassin's Creed," we read.
