I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History (Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo) is an anime based on a light novel written by Izumi Okido and illustrated by Jyun Hayase. The light novel was later adapted into a manga, illustrated by Akari Hoshi, which began serialization on Enterbrain’s B’s Log Comic website in May 2020.

Some time ago, it was announced that the manga would be getting an anime adaptation. And today, we finally get to see it come to life on our screens. The first episode of I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History is now available to watch on Crunchyroll, with new episodes dropping every Thursday.

What I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History is about

Alicia, the eldest daughter of a noble family, has a talent for dark magic and a sharp tongue to match her temper. She’s a villainess through and through. But here’s the twist: Alicia is actually a character from an otome game.

An unnamed girl is a huge fan of Alicia and dreams of becoming her. One day, her wish unexpectedly comes true when she gets hit by a truck and is transported into the game, reincarnated as a 7-year-old Alicia. Now, with her knowledge of the game, the new Alicia is determined to become the greatest villainess in history - through hard work and sheer determination. But, of course, not everything will go as planned, and she’ll face plenty of challenges along the way. In the coming episodes, we’ll see how her efforts start to pay off.

What I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History release date and where to watch the anime

As I mentioned earlier, you can watch I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History on Crunchyroll. The anime will have 13 episodes, with each new episode airing every Thursday.
