If you like survivals and settlement building, you may want to check out Bellwright. It is a new early access game, which takes place in medieval times. Player’s task it to lead a rebellion to prove that you were framed for killing the prince. Of course, before you do that, it is necessary to create your own village, and you will need a lot of resourced to do that (like Straps). To move swiftly, you will need some means of transportation. Let’s talk about Horses and Fast Travel.

How to Get a Horse (Mount)

Sadly, at this point it seems impossible to have any mount. Keep in mind though that the game is in early access. It is likely that we will see horses in the future. For now, players must have to accept that the quickest way to get from one place to other is Fast Travel.

How to Use Fast Travel in Bellwright

If you want to use Fast Travel in Bellwright, you need to research Advanced Workbench and later Travel Sign (it costs 8 Wood and 3 Simple Cords). Once you do that, you will be able to build this construction wherever you want, but it costs 5 Wood, 2 Logs, 2 Crude Stone and 150 Renown.

Remember that fast travelling has some limitations. You can’t do that when you are in combat (or foes are nearby) and with companions. The biggest and not so obvious restriction is something else, though. You can’t teleport from any point on the map. You have to go to one of the Travel Signs and interact with it to be able to go to others.
