Roads in Cities Skylines 2
In Cities Skylines 2 you have access to three sizes of roads. Each of these has uses in different areas.
- Small roads are great for districts with low density residential buildings.
- Medium roads are perfect for commercial and residential zones with higher density.
- Large size is suitable for the busiest roads. Place them in areas with the highest traffic. In addition, you also have highways. This type of roads allows your residents to get through the city quickly. You can use them to connect distant districts.
How to upgrade roads in Cities Skylines 2
Upgrading roads in Cities Skylines 2 is very easy. To do so, you must open the "Roads" tab. In the Tool Mode you will find “Replace” option. Next, select a road you want to upgrade to and click on a street you wish to change. You should remember that if you build a wider or narrower roads, all buildings along them will be destroyed.
It works in exactly the same way with the tram tracks. Go to the “Transportation” tab, next to “Tram” menu. Then choose a “Replace” option.
How to raise (elevate) roads in Cities Skylines 2
Cities Skylines 2 allows you to elevate roads. If you want to raise a street then you must go to the "Roads" tab, select a road you want to build and click:
- Page up to elevate.
- Page down to lower.
