Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is packed with puzzles, and the Safehouse is a real head-scratcher. It can feel overwhelming with its maze of rooms and corridors, spanning both upstairs and underground. Once you figure out how to open the secret door by the piano, you'll think you're in the clear, but not quite yet! You need to solve the boiler room puzzle to fully access the basement, and this one’s tricky. Read on to learn how to tackle it.

To access the boiler room, go through the corridor past the computer room. Open the door on the left at the end of the corridor and head down the stairs. Enter the next room with the boiler, where you’ll find a note on the table with a clue for solving this puzzle. In this room, you’ll see two valves labelled “fuel” and “boiler”, along with a pilot switch. Here’s how to solve the puzzle:

  1. First, turn off the boiler by interacting with it twice.
  2. Next, set the fuel valve to half by interacting with it once. The arrow on the panel above the pilot switch should point up.
  3. Turn on the pilot switch. You should hear a buzzing sound with a single “ding”, and the light will change from red to yellow.
  4. Finally, interact with the boiler twice to turn it on. If done correctly, you’ll hear three “ding” sounds, and the light near the pilot switch will turn green.

Now you can return to the piano, go down the stairs, and open the door to the basement.

Been with gamepressure.com since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or admiring my collection of retro consoles.
