How to Get Disciple in Cult of the Lamb

The new update for Cult of the Lamb, called Sins of the Flesh, has just recently been released. This major content patch has added a lot of new features and improvements to the game. Among others, it takes your cult and its members to another level. No, literally, this expansion makes it possible for your faithful followers to become disciples. There are several things that you need to know about them, before they can bolster your wooly sect. Here you will learn all that is necessary for your devotees to ascend (or descend?).

Disciples in Cult of the Lamb explained

So, you want to develop your Cult of the Lamb, right? As a sect is meant to gather followers, it can’t get bigger without them growing. In CotL, your cultists can gain levels, but in the recent update they can evolve further into disciples. How can this be achieved?

The whole ordeal is quite simple. All there is for a common follower to become a disciple is to be on 10th level and complete the Ritual of Discipleship. To do the first, you will be required to complete certain actions with your cultists, like for example blessing them, inspiring, intimidating or bribing. Currently, level 10 of loyalty is the highest in the game, and only after a follower reaches it, it will be possible to make them your disciple. When it comes to the Ritual of Discipleship, it requires 75 bones to conduct.

There is no limit to how many disciples you can have. There are several functions that only they can perform:

1. They will help you manage dissenters.
2. The disciples can deposit devotion from other buildings into a Disciple Collection Shrine.
3. There is Disciple Boost Shrine that allows disciples to pray and empower you during crusades.

There is one more thing worth noting. Having 12 disciples should unlock an achievement called Apostles. Why only should? Because it seems that at the time of writing this article achievement system in the game is broken. If you are an achievement hunter, you may want to restrain yourself from doing that until the problem is fixed by the developers in future patches.
