How to Get Chicken in Travellers Rest

Playing Travellers Rest will require chicken meat. In this guide you will learn how to obtain it.

Travellers Rest is an interesting combination of economic strategy, RPG and life simulator, in which you play the role of the owner of a small inn and gradually develop your business. The game recently received the Farm Animals update, introducing a number of new mechanics - including animal husbandry. This guide will tell you more about how to get chicken meat.

Travellers Rest - how to obtain chicken meat

In the game you will find recipes for which chicken meat is required. After the Farm Animals update, there are two ways to obtain this ingredient. The first is by shopping at Harvest Hill Farm. Unfortunately, the store's assortment is quite limited, so you will be able to purchase at most a few pieces. This may not be enough.

If you need a larger amount of chicken meat then you will have to start farming your own stock. To do this, you must first purchase a chicken coop from Buzz and stock up on animals at Harvest Hill Farm.

However, in order for the chickens to give you meat, you need to put them in the game world. To do this you need, move the animal to the hotbar, enter the chicken coop and start the build mode. Then you will be able to take them out of the inventory and place them in the desired location.

Finally, it remains for you to kill the chicken to obtain meat from it. The whole process is quite brutal. This is because you have to hit the animal with a broom until it dies.

If you are trying to find your way around Travellers Rest after the Farm Animals update, then we invite you to read our other guides.
