Halls of Torment, a fresh take on the roguelike genre with a retro-inspired aesthetic reminiscent of classic titles like Diablo, has officially exited Early Access and launched on September 24th. Offering a diverse roster of heroes, procedurally generated dungeons, and a wealth of powerful loot, players will battle through hordes of monstrous enemies and encounter challenging bosses. One of the quests involves finding the Protective Pendant. If you're still searching for it, we’ve got some helpful tips to guide you.

Halls of Torment – Protective Pendant Location

In Halls of Torment, within the Haunted Caverns, you can find the Bloodstained Pages. Two blood trails will lead away from the book, each ending at a shrine. When you approach a shrine, it will activate, and your objective will be to defeat a specific number of enemies within the purple circles that surround it. The required number of kills will be displayed on the screen. One shrine will have multiple purple circles, and as you’ll complete it, it will vanish. Once all enemies have been defeated and the shrine is cleared, you'll be rewarded with half of the Protective Pendant. To fully assemble the pendant, both shrines must be completed.

Protective Pendant has a powerful effect. It will fire a single projectile towards the first and second form of the boss, dealing base damage equal to 50% of their maximum health.

You might recognize this quest from the Early Access. The Protective Pendant used to be called the Token of Pain.
