Vampire Survivors is one of the most popular games combining the rougelike and bullet hell genre. The main goal of players is to survive as long as possible in the arena, which is constantly filled with more and more powerful opponents. The game is not abandoned by developers. A new DLC, Ode to Castlevania, was released on October 31. It introduces a great number of new features and is one of the biggest updates for this title. More than 20 characters have been added, including Soma Crus. In our guide you will find out what you need to do to unlock it.

How to Unlock Soma Cruz in Vampire Survivors?

First of all, make sure you have the Inlaid Library unlocked. To do this, reach level 20 in Mad Forest. Then unlock the stage selection. Select Ode to Castlevania at the very bottom.

To unlock Soma Cruz, you must meet one key criteria. Namely, defeat Gergoth playing Julius Belmont. This character will become available when you open the second coffin. To find it, you must reach the Paranoia boss in the Library. Near him, on the left side, you will notice a red spot on the wall. This is a hidden passage to a secret part of the library, where you will find the coffin.

Playing Julius Belmont, you must find Gergoth, who is located before the third castle portal, or more precisely, on the intricate staircase behind the Library. It may take a long while to defeat him, but nevertheless, when you manage to kill the boss, at the end of the run, you will receive a message informing that you have unlocked Soma Cruz. The next time you play, this character should be available.
