After some server issues, Path of Exile 2 is here. First players can enter this dark world. Of course, for now, the game is in early access. However, while not ready, it can already offer a lot of gameplay. One of the major aspects of it is an enormous passive skill tree. You will encounter “Requirements not met” message in it. We will tell you how to deal with it and increase attributes.

How to deal with “Requirements not met” in PoE 2

The first thing to remember is that you can’t start anywhere on the passive skill tree. Each class has its own entry point. While the branches are connected with each other, you can’t begin from a different center point than the one pointed by the game. At first, I thought that it was the case of not high enough attributes, but it does not seem like it now.

Once you come to terms with that, investing your points into passive skills is quite easy. All you need to do is to make sure that your skills are connected to each other at least by one “arm”. It is also important if you want to respec points.

Moreover, you must also keep in mind that during your adventure you will not only find items suitable for your class and they will require attributes which might not be essential for you. Even some useful items like Rares which you get for killing bosses, might require skills, which you normally are not investing into. If you really want to use them, you can increase attributes on the passive skill tree, too. You do it like any other skill.
