How to Become a Werewolf in The Sims 4?
New DLC for The Sims 4 enables sims to transform into werewolves. Here you will learn how to do it.
A few days ago a new DLC for The Sims 4 has launched. It is called Werewolves, which clearly indicates what the expansion focuses on. It will enable you to turn your sims into the eponymous beats.
But how do you actually accomplish this? There are several ways to do it, and you will find all of them below. Thanks to them you will be able to become worthy rivals of vampires.
How to become a werewolf
Currently, there are five ways to become a werewolf in The Sims 4. Some of them require you to take certain actions after starting the game, while others will enable you to start as the beast.
Just ask
Personal culture is key. If you want to be a werewolf, ask for it. If you run into a sim who is secretly a lycanthrope, you can get him to help you turn into one. All you have to do is establish a rapport with him/her. Once you've reached the right level of rapport (and if that werewolf has the Cursed Bite skill), you'll be able to convince him to use it on you during a conversation. You will then be bitten and begin to go through the subsequent phases of transforming into a werewolf.
You can be attacked
Walking around Moonwood Mill at night can be dangerous. After all, there are quite a few werewolves prowling the area. However, if you want to join their community, leaving home after dark can be a good idea. You then have a good chance that your character will be attacked by one of the lycanthropes. As a result of the attack, you will be affected by a disease called "Werebies", which will start your transformation into a werewolf.
Lycanthropy is hereditary
If your sim is a normal human, but you would like your children to be werewolves, there is a way to do it. A relationship with a lycanthrope can lead to the birth of baby werewolves. Couples consisting of a human and a werewolf have a 50% chance that their offspring will inherit the power to turn into the beast. The children will initially appear to be ordinary humans, but over time their hidden traits will come to light. By the time they reach their teenage years, they should be able to take full advantage of the power to turn into a werewolf.
Start the game as a werewolf
You can also take the easy way out and simply start the game as a werewolf. The character creator will enable you to create a sim that is a lycanthrope from the start. All you need to do is endow him/her with the Werewolfism trait. This way you won't have to look for wolf friends or trouble during your night walks.
This is what cheats are for
If you have already created a character and at the same time you don't want to use the ways mentioned at the beginning, there is one more option to change into a werewolf. The Sims games always include an extensive sets of cheats, and the release of a new DLC is associated with more of them. One of them will enable you to instantly acquire the werewolf trait. Thanks to this you will not have to waste your precious time. Just use the cheat below:
