Deadlock is upcoming mix of MOBA and hero shooter set in the alternative version of New York. In this created by Valve title you will take on the role of one of the available heroes and together with your team try to destroy the enemy base. While the game is not officially released, it is available in the form of closed test. You will only get access to the game, if someone sends you an invite, though. From this guide you will learn how long you must wait to see your invitation on your mail.

How Long Does Deadlock Invite Take to Show up?

If someone invites you to play Deadlock, you will not gain access to the game immediately. So, you must wait for an email from Steam. There is no specific time in which you will get it. Most of the "testers" wait up to a couple of hours. However, there are some cases where players have been waiting for days for this message. It's not clear on what waiting time depends on. Probably the number of pending invites is crucial in this case. So, you need to check your email regularly.

How to Invite a Friend to Deadlock

Right now, everyone who has access to Deadlock can invite other people to the test. The whole process is quite simple.

  1. Launch Deadlock.
  2. In the bottom right of the screen, you will find Invite Your Friends option.
  3. Click on it and choose which of your friends will receive an invitation.

After doing so, everything depends on Valve. So, your friend must be patient.
