Horror In Silence Scores Successful Debut in Early Access
Multiplayer horror game In Silence recorded a successful debut in Steam's early version. The game receives very positive feedback from users.
The successes of games such as Dead by Daylight and Phasmophobia have shown that there is a demand for good multiplayer horror titles. On Steam, the latest successful debut in this category was In Silence by Ravenhood Games, whose early version went on sale in Early Access on October 16. In this title, a group of 2-6 players play the role of people trying to survive, and another user takes control of the monster hunting them. The beast is almost completely blind, but it has highly developed sense of hearing.
The game has met with a warm reception. At the time of writing this news In Silence has 1112 reviews on Steam, of which 85% are positive. Here are some sample user reviews:

This game has an amazing concept and is a lot of fun to play. The problem with it is the lack of other maps or a progression system that would make someone want to keep playing.

I have almost 3500 hours in Dead By Daylight and i can honestly say this might actually pull me from it if it gets enough attention i definately hope it does.

This game is lacking content right now. Needs some balance and fixing up too. So if you are planning to purchase it, keep in mind that this is 'extremely' early access for a game. However, with a group of friends it's a nice game to play. I really enjoy the setup and game mechanics. They are not complex but the concept of the monster and game mechanics are rather fun.

The game is generally praised for its gameplay mechanics and atmosphere, and criticised for its modest content. However, this disadvantage is a little less painful than usual, as In Silence currently costs only $9.99.
The game is also faring decently in terms of the number of players. At the hottest moment of the weekend, 2.3 thousand people played the title at Steam at the same time. The activity results from next week will enable us to draw conclusions about whether the game has a future.
In Silence is only available on PC. The game is to remain in the early access phase for about 3-4 months.
