Horizon Forbidden West has Gone Gold

Sony and Guerrilla Games announced that Horizon Forbidden West gone gold, which means that its release scheduled for February is not threatened. Also some PlayStation 4 Pro gameplays appeared, and the title looks pretty good on them.

I bring good news for all those who are waiting for the continuation of Aloy's adventures. Sony and Guerrilla Games announced today that Horizon Forbidden West has gone gold. This means that the work on the title has been completed and the master disc can go to the pressing plant, and then individual copies and our consoles. In other words, the release scheduled for February 18 should not be threatened.

Horizon Forbidden West will be released on both PlayStation 4 and 5. While we have already had a chance to see gameplays from PS5, fans may have concerns about how the title will perform on Sony's older console. It seems, however, that it won't be so bad. Fragments of gameplay recorded on PS4 Pro, which look quite good, have appeared on the web today. Yes, some differences are visible, but there will still be something to keep your eyes busy. One video is featured above below, while the rest can be found here.

If you're curious as to whether the game itself will live up to expectations, I refer you to the preview by Dariusz Matusiak, who liked what he saw.

Last, but not least - before the release it's worth making some space on your hard drive, because the new Horizon will be a bit "heavy".
