Horizon: Forbidden West Gets PC Release Date. Trailer Flaunts New Graphics Options
Sony has finally revealed when the Complete Edition of Horizon: Forbidden West will launch on PC. Aloy's adventures coming as early as March.
PC-users and fans of the Horizon series from Guerrilla Games, will finally be able to play Forbidden West on their favorite platform. Today, Sony announced that Horizon: Forbidden West -- Complete Edition will hit PCs on March 21, 2024. The game will cost $50.
In addition to the release date, we also learned a bit about the features that the PC port of the game will offer. The game will arrive with an unlocked frame rate and the ability to tweak graphics settings, and with DLSS 3, AMD FSR and Intel XeSS technologies implemented.
In addition, the game will also support Nvidia's DLAA feature, which further improves image quality at the expense of performance. DirectStorage, which speeds up loading, will also be there.
Horizon: Forbidden West -- Complete Edition for PC is now available for pre-order on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Pre-order bonuses include a Blacktide outfit and bow, and a resource pack containing ammunition or two sets of outfits and weapons (for the Carja and Nora tribes). In October, Horizon: Forbidden West was released on PlayStation 5 in its complete edition. The edition consisted of both the core game and the Burning Shores expansion, which was release in April 2023.
