Homeworld 3 Delayed; Demo Available on Steam
The highly anticipated strategy game Homeworld 3 has scored a slip almost at the last straight before its release. The game will be released about two months later than scheduled.
Strategy fans eagerly anticipating the release of RTS Homeworld 3 on March 8, 2024 will be disappointed to hear the bad news I bring. Blackbird Interactive announced today that their strategy will be postponed. The game will be released just over two months later than expected - on May 13, 2024. Those who pre-ordered the most expensive version of Fleet Command will be able to start playing on May 10.
The reason for this decision is quite obvious - developers want to provide the community with the best possible experience. They recently assembled a special team of players from outside the studio to test out the full version of Homeworld 3, as stated in their announcement. This way, the devs received additional comments and observations that they decided to incorporate into their game before it's released.
I suggest carefully reading the mentioned message if you have pre-ordered the collector's edition of the game Homeworld 3. Developers clarify various related issues in it, including the potential cancellation of orders by Amazon.
It's worth adding that Steam Next Fest, which lasts until February 12, allows you to play the demo version of Homeworld 3. Players who have already done so notice some minor issues with the game, but overall they seem satisfied.
