Homestead in Undawn - How to Upgrade and More; Everything You Need to Know

In the survival Undawn, a Homestead is a personal shelter or base of operations for the player. Upgrading it is an essential part of the gameplay because this place allows you to take part in PVP, protect yourself, or use production facilities. What is more, your character's progress is capped based on the level of your Homestead. In this guide, you will find everything you need to know about these player bases.

Upgrading your Homestead in Undawn

To upgrade your shelter, you will need specific resources, which change every level. You can check them at the Homestead Sign in front of your home. You also need to meet goals for Homestead ranking for each upgrade. This parameter depends on the items and structures you have displayed; to check their value select them and look in the upper left corner.

You can Enhance structures by clicking on them in the Build mode and selecting the Enhance option.

Once you meet all the requirements and gather all the necessary materials, you can upgrade your Homestead instantly.

Production facilities in Homestead in Undawn

The structures used in production that you can put in your base are:

1. Blueprint Drafting Table,
2. Deconstruction Bench for dismantling items.
3. Various Workbenches, for crafting structures and furniture, defenses, weapons, equipment, materials etc.,
4. Equipment Repair Table, for repairing armor and weapons with low durability,
5. Mechanic Station, which allows to craft vehicles,
6. Grill, for cooking food,

Inviting friends

Inviting friends to your Homestead is very easy. Simply pick anyone from your Friend menu, scroll down the list of options and pick “Invite as guest”.

Homestead raiding

When you upgrade your Homestead to level 4 or above, it can be raided by other players. In order to attack others yourself, you need to be at least level 26 and join or create a Camp.

To begin PVP you need to locate the NPC Dave Conner in Noah’s Park. Buy a Decryption Card from him for 1000 gold. Go to your inventory and use it, then talk to him again to be transported to a Camp in a random location.

In order to succeed with a raid, you need to locate the Black Box in another player’s Homestead and destroy it. Afterwards, reach the evacuation point to call a helicopter to escape.

Keep in mind:

1. You can walk or drive around the Enemy Camp as well as teleport to different districts within it, but the enemy will be able to see you and defeat you.
2. You can only Raid once a day and you will need to pay 1000 gold for a Decryption Card each time.
