New Expansion for Hearts of Iron 4 Takes Us to Northern Europe
Strategy game Hearts of Iron IV will receive the Arms Against Tyranny expansion today. This time we will lead the countries of northern Europe through the turbulent period of World War II.
Today, Paradox Interactive will release on Steam another DLC for Hearts of Iron IV. Arms Against Tyranny - because that's the title of the new expansion - will take players to the northern regions of Europe. On their cunning and strategic skills will depend the fate of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden in the hot period of World War II.
- Along with the DLC, Hearts of Iron IV will receive a lot of content. Among them, new national objective trees and alternative stories for the northern European countries.
- Players will also be given the opportunity to customize the actions of weapon makers by improving production and research on various technologies.
- Anyone who feels a flair for trade will be able to do extensive business with warring nations by selling weapons. In return, we will be rewarded with improved production capacity in civilian factories.
- That's not all, however, as the developers also took care of new unit graphics (including a Finnish snowmobile brigade), 10 new songs inspired by Nordic cultures, personalization of special forces units and greater specialization of divisions.
Arms Against Tyranny is priced on Steam at $19.99. Those who preordered the expansion will receive a bonus in the form of an additional in-game music track.
Please note that to play the DLC, you must own the base game. You can get acquainted with the system requirements of the title on Steam.
Hearts of Iron IV debuted on PC in 2016 as the next installment in the series of popular strategy games, in which players direct the politics of one of the countries of the interwar period and World War II. The distinctive feature of the fourth installment, as well as its predecessors, is the faithful recreation of historical realities, combined with full freedom to create an alternative future.
