Hogwarts Legacy Rumors Suggest Delay to 2023
According to new reports, work on Hogwarts Legacy is going slower than expected. The game's release may be delayed.
Disturbing reports about Hogwarts Legacy have surfaced online. They show that the game's development is not going according to plan and it is likely that the release will be delayed until 2023.
The information was shared during the Sacred Symbols podcast hosted by Colin Moriarty. He is a proven insider, whose reports have repeatedly turned out to be true. For example, in 2019 he reported that a refreshed version of Demon's Souls was in the works, and in February 2020 he reported on a new Ratchet & Clank.
Moriarty says that according to his sources, Hogwarts Legacy will most likely not be released this year. The insider assures that the game itself looks promising, but it's simply taking longer to create than originally planned.
It is worth mentioning that the above reports contradict recent rumors, according to which Hogwarts Legacy is nearing completion. This information came from the Twitter account AccountNGT, which has recently become known as a reliable source of leaks.
Who is right? It is difficult to judge. It's worth adding, however, that according to AccountNGT, the game's publisher is about to remind us of its existence by releasing a gameplay trailer, presenting character skills. The footage is expected to appear at Sony's February presentation. So, if we don't see the video next month, we will consider betting on Colin Moriarty.
Recall that initially the game was supposed to debut last year. However, it was later postponed to 2022.
