Wuthering Waves – Cyan and Violet Feathered Heron
These are Elite Class enemies that you can meet in many places on the map. Killing them can potentially guarantee you materials for equipment upgrades and getting their Echo.
The Echo Hunting tool is great for locating them. You can find them by entering the Terminal (use the ESC key) and then clicking on Guidebook. On the left side at the very bottom, you should find the Echo Hunting tab. All you need to do is find Violet or Cyan Feathered Heron there.
If you have not encountered them earlier, you can search for them in Unknown positions, focusing on Elite Class. Click Detect to get the enemy marker on the map. If it's not the Heron icon, choose another option.
How to Fly in Wuthering Waves – Impermanence Heron
Impermanence Heron is located in the northern part of the map, near Camp Overwatch. It is a unique Heron with the Overlord Class. It is a big threat, yet killing it and then consuming 60 Waveplates guarantees a fair number of rewards. These include materials for upgrading characters, echoes or weapons, Shell credits, 450 Union EXP, and Gold-Dissolving Feather Material, which is used to upgrade Ascension character Taoqi.
By defeating him, you can also get his Echo (it is a random drop), which, if equipped in the first slot, allows you to transform into Heron. By holding down the Q button, you will be able to fly for a short period of time, dealing damage to enemies. An excellent tool for combat and exploration.
Wuthering Waves – Twin Heron
Twin Heron, on the other hand, is simply the duo of Cyan and Violet Feathered Heron. They are located in the southeastern part of the map, east of Fallen Grave.
However, the problem is not getting to them, but defeating them. This is a boss that has level 110. Fighting them is not easy. However, it's worth it, because killing one of them guarantees you 5 Star Echo for free! What's more, if you manage to defeat two of them, you'll earn the Though I Can't Fly trophy, which grants 10 Astrites.
