Wuthering Waves is an open-world action RPG. It was developed by the Hong Kong-based studio Kuro Game, also known for Punishing: Gray Raven.
Plot
Wuthering Waves is set in a fantasy world, ravaged by a calamity known as Calament. It created creatures known as the Calamon, their only purpose being to sow destruction. After a hundred years, the survivors start rebuilding what had been lost during Calament. Our playable characters are to restore hope to the world.
Mechanics
Wuthering Waves is a third-person game. Its world is vast, open and freely traversible. The playable character is very mobile, able to wall run, making exploration extremely fast-paced. The player must complete quests and take down hordes of enemies. Combat requires staying mobile, dodging, chaining hits into devastating melee combos and using our supernatural abilities. We can also quickly switch between characters during combat, giving us tons of possibilities on the battlefield. As we progress through the game, we develop our character, facing greater challenges over time.
