Hello Kitty Island Adventure is now available on Switch and PC via Steam. Will we be able to play it on other platforms like PS5, PS4 and Xbox? Let’s look at it.

After a long period of exclusivity of Hello Kitty Island Adventure on iOS, we can play it on other devices, too. Today this cozy title was released on Steam and Nintendo Switch. However, let’s be honest, there are numerous fans of this cartoon in the world. Some of them prefer to play on PlayStation or Xbox. Of course, many players would like to know whether this cute adventure will launch on their device. We will answer this question here.

As of now, we can enjoy Hello Kitty Island Adventure on PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch and iOS. Fans of PlayStation don’t have to worry either, as the game is coming to your device, too. According to FAQ shared on the official Discord channel, it will be released this year (2025), however, the exact date is unknow yet. Moreover, it seems that it will only be available on PS5. So, if you have PS4, there is a great chance that you will not be able to play it.

What about Xbox Series X / S? Sadly, there is no information regarding this console anywhere. It looks like the port is not planned yet. However, taking into consideration that PC, Switch and PlayStation versions are ready or planned, we can assume that there is a higher than 0 chance that players with devices from Microsoft will also get their copy of the game at some point.
