Helldivers 2 promises to be one of the most interesting co-op shooters this year. Readers waiting for this game should be interested to learn that it has reached the so-called golden status. This means that work on it has been completed and we shouldn't worry about any delays (Cyberpunk 2077 was a rare exception to this rule).

Helldivers 2 will be released on February 8 this year. The game is heading to PC and PlayStation 5. If you intend to purchase the PC edition, it is worth familiarizing yourself with its hardware requirements first.

The game is currently available for pre-order in the PlayStation Store and on Steam . Purchasing the production before the premiere will be rewarded with three additional sets of armor. The standard edition of Helldivers 2 costs $40. There's also the so-called Super Citizen Edition, at $49 which additionally offers a number of digital bonuses, such as:

  1. 'DP-53 Savior of the Free' Armour Set
  2. 'Will of the People' Cape
  3. 'MP-98 Knight' Weapon
  4. Super Citizen Status
  5. Stratagem Hero Ship Game
  6. 'Steeled Veterans' Premium Warbond

It's worth mentioning that a few days ago, the creators released a new trailer, which you can watch above. The developers also confirmed that the game uses the technology of procedural generation of some elements, as well as an effective system of deforming the terrain as a result of explosions.

Helldivers 2 looks very promising. Some PlayStation 5 owners are disappointed that, unlike on PC, they will have to purchase a PlayStation Plus subscription to use online features, but it's hard to blame the game's creators for that.

  1. Helldivers on Steam
  2. Helldivers in PlayStation Store
