Creators of Helldivers 2 revealed what the long-awaited "Day 60 update" will bring. After the warmly received "fix" of Escalation of Freedom, Arrowhead has finally published a teaser for the next update.

The first information might disappoint the players a bit. Creative director Johan Pilestedt and design director Niklas Malmborg announced that the patch will be released not on the 60th, but on the 63rd day.

The reason? The former would mean a Saturday debut, and implementing the changes at a time when the game is most heavily populated would be a significant risk, if not outright sabotage of the Super Earth forces' efforts in the fight for Democracy. Not to mention that there probably wouldn't be enough employees at the Arrowhead office to deal with any potential problems caused by the update.

Fortunately, the team has already started to compensate players for this slightly longer wait. The developers mentioned what fans can expect from this big update. Not enough to reveal the exact changes, but enough to intrigue the players. Unfortunately for them, this time the backs of the cards held by the Swedes only included fixes and correction.

For example, the AC-8 autocannon can now also be used to fight the Democracy's flying enemies, and the GR-8 recoilless rifle will receive "programmable ammunition." Large and "nicest" (quoting Pilestedt) change will affect the M-105 Stalwart LMG. What kind of change? This has not been revealed yet.

Big patch for Helldivers 2 will be released next Tuesday. Perhaps he will also consider ragdoll corrections, but that's just speculation.
