“He was such a b*tch.” The Santa Clauses guest star called playing with Tim Allen “single worst experience she has ever had”
The Santa Clauses guest star recalls working with Tim Allen badly, describing it as the worst experience of her life.
The Santa Clause was a 1994 Christmas hit that was brought back to life in 2022, when Disney+ decided to make a TV series following the movie story. Tim Allen returned to his role in it, being the star of the production.
However, working with him reportedly did not go smoothly. That's according to Casey Wilson, who made a guest appearance in The Santa Clauses and recalls her time on set with Allen badly. The actress confessed in her podcast that “everybody was walking on eggshells” around him. Wilson recounted her own unpleasant situation with Allen, after which the actor never looked her in the eye or spoke to her again.
Tim Allen was such a b*tch. It was the truly single worst experience I’ve ever had with a co-star ever.
So I’m in a scene. It’s just me and Tim Allen and I’m supposed to throw things at him. I think he’s a burglar. So he’s coming down the chimney, obviously as Santa, and I am woken up thinking there’s an intruder, basically like a home invasion scene. So I’m throwing things at him. [He] goes over to the producer who is standing four feet from me and goes, and I hear him, he goes, “You gotta tell her to stop stepping on my lines." The producer turns to me with horror on his face and has to walk one foot to me and he goes, "Um, Tim would ask that you stop stepping on his lines.”
When he was done, he was so f**king rude. Never made eye contact, never said anything. It was so uncomfortable.
And apparently she wasn't the only one who didn't take it lightly, as Wilson confessed that one of the people on set told her that she had to deal with Allen on his “good day.”
It’s the end, and Tim Allen goes, "Leaving!," takes his Santa cape, picks it up and drops it on the floor and walks out. And they hustle in his stand-in; lovely man, who was much nicer to act against. People are scurrying to pick up his velvet Santa coat. He’s a b*tch. And this is the best… I will not say who said this. This was someone that I do not know, perhaps in the crew. [He or she] breezes past me and just goes, "You’re seeing him on a good day."
Casey Wilson is not the first person to have bad memories of working with Tim Allen. Earlier, Pamela Anderson, who starred with him in Home Improvement, complained about the actor. At the time, a disturbing incident was said to have taken place – in her biography, Anderson described how Allen allegedly exposed himself to her. Tim Allen denied these reports (via Variety).
