Halo: The Master Chief Collection will receive support for Xbox Series S|X shortly after its release. The official Xbox Twitter account has revealed the pros of running the Halo collection on Microsoft's new console.

The update adding the support for Xbox Series S|X will appear on November 17th. Halo: The Master Chief Collection on the new consoles will offer 120 frames per second in both multiplayer and single player campaigns. The split-screen cooperation will work in 4K and 60 FPS.

The game will also support cross-generation play and offer the ability to adjust the field of view in options.
