As recently announced, Hades 2 received its first major update. The developers expressed their gratitude to the players for their feedback and reiterated their focus on balancing changes and additional improvements in the next update.

Patch 1 for Hades 2 - changes and updates

Below we present the most important changes introduced in the update.

  1. Sprinting is faster and more responsive, and the skills that enhance it have been scaled up.
  2. Dashes have been improved and are now more reliable, allowing you to dodge more effectively in combat.
  3. Carrying the necessary tools to gather the desired resources is no longer required. From now on, it's enough to just have them unlocked.
  4. In exchange, a given tool can be given priority, which will result in the resources collected with its help appearing more frequently.
  5. The Swift Runner (one of the available Arcana) received an additional effect - the leap performed by us is instantaneous. His sprint bonus was also re-scaled.

Of course, this is only part of what Supergiant Games studio has prepared for us. The list also includes quite a number of smaller changes and bug fixes.

Hades 2 was released in early access on May 6 on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game has been incredibly well-received and has almost 30,000 reviews on Valve's platform, with a remarkable 94% being positive. During the peak, 103,000 players were simultaneously engaged in the game (via SteamDB), nearly double the number achieved by the previous installment.
