New Versions of GTA V and GTA Online on PS5 and XSX in November
The refreshed and improved version of GTA V will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles this November. The standalone edition of GTA Online will also come to fans at the same time.
Grand Theft Auto V, despite its age, is still one of the best-selling games on consoles and PC, and invariably hits the bestseller lists year after year. The title, which launched almost eight years ago on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, will officially appear in a refreshed version of Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 in six months. Rockstar has just confirmed that it will happen simultaneously on both platforms on November 11. The game will be sold in boxed and digital editions.
Next-gen edition of GTA V is expected to offer many visuals improvements and options that will take advantage of the processing power of new platforms. Rockstar did not confirm exactly what attractions can be expected, so it's hard to say whether they will be worth the price. If rumors are to be believed, remastered GTA V will be sold for the same price as each new game designed for 9th-gen consoles
At the same time as GTA V, a standalone and paid version of GTA Online will be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X. On Sony's platform, the game will be available for free until the end of February 2022. However, this offer will only be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers. Additionally, PlayStation 4 Plus owners can receive one million virtual dollars in the game as a gift every month until November. This summer, fans of GTA Online on all platforms can count on new surprises and updates.
