GTA Remastered Trilogy Increasingly Certain, But Not Anytime Soon
Another source has spoken out on the rumors of GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas remasters. Tom Henderson has confirmed all the information so far except one. The insider does not believe that Grand Theft Auto Remastered Trilogy will be released this year.
Another report seems to confirm that a refreshed version of the 3D GTA trilogy is in development. Tom Henderson has sort of confirmed available leaks about the Grand Theft Auto Remastered Trilogy. The well-known insider wrote on Twitter that recent rumors about the refresh of GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas revealed almost everything he could write about them. With one exception. Henderson doesn't believe in the debut of the remastered trilogy this year. He expects it to be released "somewhere in 2022".
As always, we recommend caution with all unofficial information, even from relatively reliable sources. It's true that many fans believe in the existence of GTA Remastered Trilogy in part due to Rockstar's sudden crackdown on mods to the first three 3D installments of the series. In addition, the twentieth anniversary of Grand Theft Auto III's release is approaching and such events always raise hopes for some bigger announcements from the publishers.
However, it is better to curb the enthusiasm - not once and not twice similar "celebrations" of other series have passed without any surprises. As for the leaks, we're still waiting for confirmation of those concerning Grand Theft Auto VI, because despite further rumors about the imminent announcement of the new installment nothing appeared so far.
