Groundbreaking PlayStation 5 Game Show Might Still be Far Away

According to new reports, we may have to wait until as late as September 2022 for Sony's big show.

Interesting reports have surfaced online about Sony's upcoming big show.

  1. Their source is a very reputable journalist Jeff Grubb from VentureBeat.
  2. He claims the situation with Sony's show is highly confusing. He heard from several people that the presentation will take place in early June, but he was unable to confirm this information with trusted sources.
  3. Grubb revealed this information in the GB Decides podcast. However, what is interesting, after the story was published he heard from trusted people that we shouldn't expect the big show earlier than September.
  4. This conflicting information may suggest that Sony has not yet decided where it will reveal the biggest attractions.

The company is in a comfortable position. After Starfield and Redfall got delayed rival Microsoft has no major games scheduled for the second half of this year. Sony, on the other hand, is set to release God of War Ragnarok, which promises to be one of the most important releases of 2022.

Even if Sony's big presentation will take place only in September, next month we will have no reason to complain in terms of large shows. The plans include, among others, Summer Game Fest 2022 and Xbox & Bethesda Showcase. In turn, tomorrow we will see the 505 Games Spring 2022 Showcase.
