Gray Zone Warfare is a new tactical FPS in town. Many perceive the title as a direct competitor of Escape from Tarkov, and we can’t argue with that, as both games share many common mechanics. Especially, taking into consideration a sudden release of GZW at the same time as the Unheard Edition controversy struck EFT. The new big fish has also problems, though. As we speak, players leave negative reviews informing that the title has various performance issues.

Gray Zone Warfare (GZW) - Performance Issues and Crashes

In our sad reality, players should expect poor games’ performance on release. Many modern titles have this problem, especially if they are launched in early access. Gray Zone Warfare is not an exception. Right now, GZW has only 33% of positive reviews. Many players report various technical issues, not a gameplay, as the reason for bad opinion.

Taking into consideration a scale of the problem, it seems that players will have to wait for some official patches. If you are one of people who experience issues, make sure that your PC fits technical requirements.

To smooth your performance, you can fiddle with graphics options. Many players report that turning on FSR and adding to it FidelityFX Frame Generation in Advanced options can greatly improve number of frames. So, check it out.

Despite not so good reception, GZW is full of players with over 40 000 in game (via SteamDB). The following hours/days will show if the title will be quickly forgotten or stay with us for a longer time.
