Gray Zone Warfare Description
Gray Zone Warfare is a first-person shooter focused on realism, tactical combat and multiplayer. It's set in a fictional Southeast Asian country modeled on Laos. The game was developed by Madfinger Games.
Plot
The game is set within the Democratic Republic of Lamang, a small country undergoing quarantine for unknown reasons. When the majority of civilians had left its borders, three private military companies were tasked with discovering the country's secrets.
Each person still remaining in Lamang has their own goals and ways of dealing with problems. Playing as a mercenary, it's up to us who we'll trust.
Mechanics
Gray Zone Warfare is an open world first-person shooter. The player traverses Lamang by themselves or as part of a small squad, exploring abandoned cities, villages, farmlands and jungles. There are many civilian and military vehicles to make use of, including cars and helicopters.
Rather than a typical health bar, the game implements a system of vital points on different parts of the protagonist's body. Every wound requires a different approach - some can be handled through painkillers alone, others must be bandaged. We'll also need to monitor our hydration, stamina, radiation and poisoning levels. Ignoring injuries or our needs will negatively affect our moveset and precision.
Gray Zone Warfare emphasizes realistic weapon behavior - following the rules of ballistics is crucial in every fight. We can modify our gear to our preferences and needs - there are over a hundred parts affecting how the guns work, such as scopes and sights.
Game modes
Gray Zone Warfare focuses on multiplayer, both competitive and cooperative.
