New Tactical Shooter Announced by Mafia and Hidden and Dangerous Devs
It is likely that we will get a new shooter from Madfinger Games next year. The studio recently announced and presented details of its next game.
After several years of "dormancy" on the publishing market, Madfinger Games has announced a new game - Gray Zone Warfare. According to the developers, it will be "a tactical open-world FPS that will throw you into a ruthless jungle".
A new game from Madfinger Games is coming
Madfinger Games specializes in shooters, so it's no surprise that their next project is focused on this genre. Interestingly, their previous games were released primarily on mobile devices, while the freshly announced Gray Zone Warfare will hit PCs. For now, nothing is known about possible console versions.
Let's point out that Madfinger Games is a Czech studio, which was founded in 2008 by, among others, Mark Rabas, who worked in the past on such productions as Mafia or Hidden and Dangerous 2.
Madfinger Games' current portfolio consists of several items, the latest of which was released in 2018 (Shadowgun: Legends). In addition, it features Shadowgun, Unkilled or Monzo. All of these titles were released exclusively for iOS and Android devices, so Gray Zone Warfare will probably be the biggest game the studio has created to date..
What exactly will Gray Zone Warfare be?
As mentioned above, Gray Zone Warfare is a tactical network FPS. The players will take on the role of members of a private military company, who will be sent to a mysterious quarantined island in South Asia.
We must admit that the first trailer (posted above) looks very good and promises great fun. Perhaps in the next few months the developers will release a demo version so that you can test this title. However, one should wait for official information on this issue.
According to the product card on Steam, the game should be released in 2024. Unfortunately, for now we have no specific date from the developers. We also do not know its system requirements.
