Gran Turismo 7 With Over 400 Vehicles

Gran Turismo 7 continues the tradition of the series and aims to be a realistic racing game for fans of the genre. A new video released by Sony reveals that the title will feature over 400 different car models.

Kazunori Yamauchi, the game's lead designer, stated in the material that one of the most important features of the automotive culture is the ability to collect many different models of vehicles. Using the power of the PS5, his team intends to accurately reproduce real cars. They won't stop at just the most popular brands, but will be drawing heavily on the entire automotive history. It looks like automotive fans will get a really interesting choice of what they want to drive.

But how does this figure compare to the competition? I'd say average. Forza Motorsport 7 offers over 700 cars and Forza Horizon 4 has even more (over 750). As for the previous installment of Polyphony Digital's series, Gran Turismo 6, the comparison looks even worse - in the sixth game we can race 1200 vehicles.
