Gothic on Nintendo Switch
YouTube channel of Cycu1, a youtuber known for publishing gameplay recordings of various games and visual comparisons, a gameplay appeared, showing Piranha Bytes' game in action on Switch. In technical terms Gothic is not a particularly demanding game, so on Nintendo's hybrid console it works brilliantly. In addition, it is worth noting that, although you can't see it on the video, on the screen of the device the graphics can also look favorable.
At some points it can be seen that the player has slight problems with the controls - for example, before the fight with the juvenile scavenger at the beginning of the game - so it will probably take some getting used to, but other than that, you can see that Gothic is a great fit for the Nintendo Switch.
PC and Switch comparison
The developer has also published a direct comparison between the PC version (on RTX 4080) and the Switch version. In the case of the latter, the colors are slightly cooler, although much depends on the color settings in the game's options, of course. You can watch the comparison here.
