Ghost of Tsushima PC Release Date. We Know Price and New Features Enhancing Playstation Hit
Sony has officially announced a port of a PlayStation console-exclusive title. We now know the release date and features of Ghost of Tsushima for PC.
Another PlayStation exclusive title will soon hit the PC. Yesterday it was announced that Ghost of Tsushima, set in feudal Japan, will be that game - confirming recent rumors about this conversion.
PC players will play the Director's Cut edition on May 16. Below, you can watch the trailer for the Ghost of Tsushima port, which shows the game features that will be available on personal computers.
PC features
The Nixxes Software studio is responsible for the conversion in question, which in the past has prepared other versions of Sony's exclusives for PC, including Marvel's Spider-Man and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Like those games, Ghost of Tsushima for PC will offer many features, including:
- support for ultra-wide monitors with screen proportions of 21:9 and 32:9, as well as 48:9 (for configurations with three monitors);
- support for DualSense controllers;
- support for Nvidia DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3, and Intel XeSS technologies, as well as Nvidia Reflex and Nvidia DLAA.
Unfortunately, the PC system requirements haven't been disclosed. We will likely become more familiar with them closer to the premiere.
Price and content
Those interested can now buy Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut on PC, as the pre-sale of the title has already started. On Steam and in the Epic Games Store, the port costs $59.99. If you pre-order the game before May 16, you'll receive access to the horse (from New Game Plus), the Traveler's Attire, and the Broken Armor dye in the game. These items can be obtained for free by simply finishing the game.
The PC port of Ghost of Tsushima will be available in the Director's Cut edition, and this version, in addition to the "base game," includes:
- Iki Island DLC;
- Legends co-op multiplayer mode;
- additional technique point, talisman, and skins;
- director's comment;
- Kurosawa mode, offering a special film filter.
Lip sync for Japanese dubbing has also been improved.
