Get SteamWorld Dig and Mirage: Arcane Warfare for free
PC players can get SteamWorld Dig and Mirage: Arcane Warfare for free this week. The first one is offered in Origin's On the House program, while the other will be free on Steam for 24 hours starting later today.
This week you can add two PC games to your library at no cost. The first one is SteamWorld Dig – “a platform mining adventure with strong Metroidvanian influences” – currently available in Origin’s On the House program. The offer is time-limited, so you better grab the game now, if you don’t want to miss it. That is, by the way, a good opportunity to get hooked on the franchise before the sequel, SteamWorld Dig 2, arrives on September 21 for Switch, followed by the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions on September 27 (the PC version is not yet dated).
The other of the two games that you can get for free this week is Mirage: Arcane Warfare, an online first-person combat game from the creators of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, Torn Banner Studios. Mirage: Arcane Warfare will be available for free for 24 hours on Steam, starting at 10 A.M. PDT today – if you claim it within that time, you will be able to keep it forever. If, however, for some reason you miss it, you will still have a chance to buy the game at a reduced price of $9.99.
