Gamer Plays Auto Chess During a Hearthstone Tournament and... Loses
During one of Hearthstone's biggest tournaments the German player Linh „Seiko” Nguyen took part in the qualification for a tournament in Auto Chess. Playing two matches at the same time contributed to his defeat at Hearthstone Grandmasters.
At the Hearthstone Grandmasters online tournament, German player Linh "Seiko" Nguyen also played a qualifying match for an Auto Chess competition during one of his matches. Participating in two fights at the same time contributed to his defeat at Hearthstone.
The duel between "Seiko" and "Bozzzton" was broadcasted live and already during the match the spectators noticed that the German player was not focused on his game. From time to time he looked beyond the screen and looked as if his thoughts were somewhere else. The lack of focus led him to commit a lot of simple mistakes and eventually cost him the duel.
It was only after some time that it became clear that "Seiko" also took part in qualifications for an Auto Chess tournament during his Hearthstone tournament match. What's more, it turned out that he informed the organizers about it before the event itself, but they were convinced that his Auto Chess duels would take place between the fights in Hearthstone Grandmaster.
The internet was full of malicious comments from fans and eSports celebrities, who unanimously agreed that such a situation should not have happened at all, and playing other games during one of the biggest Hearthstone tournaments is simply unprofessional. The player himself apologized to everyone for his behavior and announced that he had learned a good lesson and will now focus solely on playing one game at a time.
