Frostpunk - Teaser Trailer of New DLC and a Handful of Details
11 bit studios revealed the trailer of the new DLC for Frostpunk and shared a bunch information about the game. First of all, we learned the name of the new expansion - it's no longer Project TVADGYCGJR, but On The Edge.
The mysterious DLC for Frostpunk, which has long been hiding under the code name Project TVADGYCGJR, finally revealed its full title. The new expansion is called On The Edge, and along with the title the creators revealed a teaser. We also lerned the approximate release date - the DLC is scheduled to launch this summer.
The teaser doesn't tell us much, but we also have a handful of information about the expansion itself. As reported by PC Gamer, DLC will expand the basic game with a new scenario and a number of challenges, take us to an unfriendly, deserted map and offer unique skills.
The action of On The Edge will take place after the deadly blizzard that took place at the end of Frostpunk's original campaign. However, the survival of this disaster will not be the end of our struggle, as the creators of the campaign announce further challenges:
"The people face new challenges that are catalysts to spark up divisions, new problems, and conflicts based on the fact that people might have different points of view, different perspectives. This is the Edge that you will face as the leader of the society that survived the great snowstorm of Frostpunk," said Maciej Sulecki, lead designer.
All that remains is to wait until the release, which, let's recall, is to take place in the summer of 2020.
