Free VPN in Latest Mobile Opera
In the mobile edition of Opera browser appeared an interesting feature known from its "big," computer variety – a VPN, totally for free. The function is available in the beta version dedicated to Android devices.
IN A NUTSHELL:
- mobile version of Opera browser received the function of free VPN;
- VPN allows you to hide your IP address and you can use it all the time, or alternatively in the case of bookmarks opened in private mode.
In the mobile version of the Opera browser (dedicated to devices based on Android) there is an interesting feature, known from the "large" computer release - a built-in, free VPN. The solution is available in the currently tested beta version and the aim is to provide users with a higher level of security (e.g. when using public Wi-Fi networks).
The function can be activated in a very simple way - the appropriate switch can be found in the browser settings. We may also choose to use this solution only for bookmarks running in private mode. When the feature is active, our IP address is masked with a virtual equivalent - as if we were in a different location altogether (we have a limited ability to specify this location), which makes it difficult for websites to track our true location.
It is worth noting that VPN Opera does not collect any information (so-called logs - activity logs) when the mode is enabled.
