On the footage released so far, Forza Horizon 5, the upcoming installment of the popular racing game series by Playground Games, looks quite impressive when it comes to visuals. This could raise concerns, at least among some PC gamers, whether their hardware will be able to cope with this masterpiece and guarantee a satisfactory experience. Fortunately, however, they will have to wonder no longer, because the official full requirements of the game have appeared on the web. As you can see, they differ slightly from those published in Microsoft Store and on Steam in June.
Moreover, we received assurances that Forza Horizon 5 will offer full support for 21:9 ultrawide monitors, haptic vibrations of the Xbox Wireless controller (both Microsoft Store and Steam versions of the game), as well as the most popular steering wheels from Logitech, Thrustmaster and Fanatec. Here's a list of supported devices:
- Logitech: Driving Force, G25, G27, G29, G920, G923PS, G923XB, Momo

As we can read in today's announcement, the PC version of Forza Horizon 5 was built from the ground up with that platform in mind and will feature a host of graphical options that will enable us to customize the look and feel of the game to balance visuals and performance. Among other things, we will be able to unlock the fps cap, HDR, 4K resolution, etc. In addition, the developers added ray tracing to the Forzavista mode, so that the viewed cars will look even more realistic.
Forza Horizon 5 will be released on November 9, this year on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. It's worth reminding that Xbox Game Pass subscribers will get access to the game at no extra charge on release date.
