FNAF Into the Pit - Console (PS5, PS4, Switch, Xbox) Release Explained
In this guide we will tell you where is the console release of FNAF Into the Pit. The answer is quite interesting.
FNAF Into the Pit is the newest addition to the mysterious and scarry world of Freddy and other friendly animatronics. The game was supposed to be released on August 8 not 7, as it was even announced on X (Twitter), but 4 hours later from the previous post, another appeared with the immediate release announcement. Supposedly, the confusion is due to an early Japan premiere. So, players on Steam can play now… What about console ports though? They will be here… at some point.
FNAF Into the Pit – Console (PS5, PS4, Switch, Xbox) Release Explained
According to the official website, FNAF Into the Pit will be released on Steam, Xbox S/X, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Players on Steam can enjoy the game already, but fans owning consoles have to wait a little bit longer. Developers have announced on X that they would like to release the game on consoles later this month:
We would like to let you know that we're aiming to bring Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit to consoles later this month. We know you've been eagerly awaiting this, and we appreciate your patience as we work hard to make it happen.
We will be sharing final release dates as soon as possible, as well as determining if and who will have a physical version for collectors and Ball Pit enthusiasts. Stay updated on the latest news, and please join our Discord community: https://discord.gg/megacat
As you can see, FNAF Into the Pit release is a little bit chaotic. Moreover, many players report various bugs, which are serious enough to softlock them. It may be an additional reason for later console release. Let’s give developers’ some time and wait patiently for more information.
Update: As we have anticipated, developers are working hard on fixing all bugs. The first big patch has been implemented already (in beta branch for now), which should fix one of the most crucial glitches which softlocked many players on the 5th night. This is good for console owners as well, as it is a step loser to release of ports.
Remember that the game was released a few days ago, and right now developers are probably doing what they can to fix all major problems.
