First Benchmark of New Radeon - It's Faster Than GeForce RTX 2080 Ti
There is an entry in the OpenVR database that may represent a new gaming GPU from AMD - the so-called „big Navi”. It's 17% faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti.

A new entry has appeared in the OpenVR database, which most likely concerns the so-called "big Navi", a graphics card for enthusiasts prepared by AMD. It looks like we're dealing with a really efficient chipset - in the GPU benchmark it performs 17.3% better than the powerful GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. The discovery was made by user muchcharles from Reddit's AMD section.

During CES 2020, the GPU was mentioned by AMD's CEO, Dr. Lisa Su.
"I know those on Reddit want a high-end Navi! You should expect that we will have a high-end Navi, and that it is important to have it. The discrete graphics market, especially at the high-end, is very important to us. So you should expect that we will have a high-end Navi, although I don't usually comment on unannounced products," said Dr. Lisa Su.
Of course, for the time being we don't know what the mysterious entry in OpenVR database really is. For example, we may be dealing with a two-GPU system. Still, there are reasons to feel excited - maybe AMD will finally challenge Nvidia in the gaming GPU market. The high performance of the "big Navi" would also be a good predictor for future cards based on a revised version of this architecture.
