Final Fantasy VII: Remake presented the players with recreated locations known from FFVII, which originally debuted in 1997 on the first generation PlayStation. Due to the camera settings in the remake not all of the characteristic elements of the game world were easy to see. Now you can look at the world presented in the game from a completely different perspective, and that's thanks to the tilt shift effect.
Final Fantasy VII: Remake from a different perspective
A creator who works on YouTube under the handle Flurdeh specializes in creating short videos that show game worlds from a perspective achieved by the tilt shift technique. He uses it to shift the optical axis in such a way as to show the player's eyes a much larger area than usual and retain image focus on its selected area. In short, it's like creating a diorama effect on an existing landscape. In this video of the Midgar slums, you can see characters walking around, the Wall Market, Tifa's bar, Aerith's house, and much more. If you haven't already done so, visit the creator's profile, because in the past he created many similar videos based on such games as Red Dead Redemption 2 or Cyberpunk 2077.
