Female Players Will Appear in New Mode in FIFA 22
FIFA 22 will bring long-awaited changes in terms of female players. Ladies will make their way into a different game mode and will also be playable online.
FIFA 22 is expected to be loaded with gameplay changes, but it's sure that many people won't see all the details. It's probably much easier to notice that for the first time ever we will also be able to play as female players in Pro Clubs.
We learned about this very important change to Virtual Clubs from EA Sports's official FIFA esports channel on YouTube. The Americans published there a short video titled "Female Virtual Pros", on which you can watch a female player and the stats screen of Virtual Clubs. Gamers have been curious for a long time whether EA will decide to develop the idea of female football because so far the ladies could only be played in the quick matches and tournament mode.
At this point it is worth explaining that Virtual Clubs is a special mode in which gamers can create their own player and play as only one player (as opposed to "normal" matches, where we control the entire eleven). In the course of the game, we have to choose the right position, on which the virtual star will play most often. Eleven users playing their own character take part in such co-op matches. This often leads to chaos and misunderstandings on the pitch, which adds variety to the somewhat schematic matches known from Ultimate Team. Virtual Clubs have been somewhat forgotten by EA Sports in recent years, so the addition of female players will certainly bring a breath of fresh air.
FIFA 22 will be coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Google Stadia on October 1, 2021. On Nintendo Switch, we'll play a truncated version called FIFA 22: Legacy Edition. Pre-orders can be placed now, and purchasing the Ultimate Edition will give you access to the game a few days earlier (from September 27).
