By the way, we learned the release date of Endwalker. The fourth expansion for FFXIV will have a slight delay compared to its predecessors - usually launching in the summer - and It will be released on November 23. The director of the fourteenth Final Fantasy, Naoki Yoshida, admitted that the expansion's development time was caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to work remotely. Still, better late than never, right?
Endwalker will not, as the title might suggest, be the last act of the MMORPG. However, it's supposed to pick up many threads, some of which were started back in the base game, released in 2014. We'll return to the world of Hydaelyn, but we'll also explore new locations, including the planet's moon, as well as the imperial province of Garlemald, Thavnair, and the city of Radz-at-Han.
The expansion will also offer an increased level cap - from 80 to 90 - reaching which the players will unlock additional skills for all character classes. In addition, we'll get among others a fresh PvP mode, a number of smaller and bigger side quests, high-level Pandemonium raid, and the opportunity to buy a house in Ishgard.
Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker will be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5. It is worth mentioning that along with the release of the add-on the title will be adapted for 9th-gen consolesThanks to that PS5 owners will be able to enjoy the game in 4K resolution.
