Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is the second part of the Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy. Cloud’s team goes on a journey to the place known as The Forgotten Capital. You will perform a number of side activities during this trip. One of them is gathering Protorelics, for example in Grasslands region. From this guide you will know whether you should pay 2000 gil to the bandits.

Should You Pay 2000 Gil to the Bandits in FF7 Rebirth?

The Protorelics are one of the World Intel activities. You can find them in many different locations – one of them is Grasslands. In this case, you have to fight Beck's gang four times. After last combat, you have to negotiate with bandits. Then the group will agree to give you the Protorelic for 2,000 gil.

At this point you have to pay them – this is the only option to get this item. If you refuse them, you still will not be able to force them into a different agreement.

If you are out of money, Giles can be earned in several ways. The simplest solution is to sell unused equipment that you collect during the game. You can also open chests hidden in the world and engage in battles with enemies (winning will give you money). Of course, side missions are also a valid option.
