Far Cry Primal officially announced
Far Cry Primal is officially announced as the next installment in the series. The game is set in the Stone Age, putting the players up against new challenges. Far Cry Primal is set for release in Spring 2016.
Far Cry Primal is officially a thing. Ubisoft revealed the game on its website, saying it is coming out to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 23 February 2016. PC version will follow in March. As expected, the next Far Cry is going to take as far into the past, specifically the Stone Age, when humans for the first time in history from prey turned into hunters. The main hero, Takkar, is the last survivor of his tribe. Exhausted, with no weapons, he arrives to Oros, and has to regain his strengths and find new friends to survive in this unwelcome environment. Check out the reveal trailer:
As befits the time setting, the weapons at hand will be spears, bows, maces, etc. Interestingly, you will not buy arms, but craft them yourself from materials collected. With such a self-made bow you will be good to go hunting for a big beast or defend yourself from hostile tribes. Learn more from this dev diary video:
