Far Cry 6's New Commercial has Explosions, Shootouts and... Crazy Rooster
Far Cry 6 will debut next week. In a bid to heat up the atmosphere ahead of the game's release, Ubisoft has unveiled Chicharron's Escape, a wacky TV commercial, in which the guerrillas are led into battle by an incredibly brave rooster.
The release of Far Cry 6 is just around the corner, so Ubisoft is constantly trying to get the community interested in the new game. Today, the devs posted a TV commercial titled Chicharron Run on the company's YouTube channel. The title character - a rooster (I assume that the French devs wanted to reflect quarrels and anger symbolized by the fights of these birds, and the name was most likely chosen at random because the Spanish word 'chicharron' means ... 'pork rind') - thanks to a crazy run, he leads Anton Castillo's troops into a trap prepared by the Resistance. You can watch the footage below.
Far Cry 6 will be released on October 7 on PC, PS4, PS5, XOne and XSX|S. The PC version should look especially good thanks to ray-tracing and FSR. You can find the system requirements here.
